The Government examination team promoted our School Had Master Pak Remi from Head Master to Pengawas of the TK/SDs in Kodi because he was presenting so good results in the school. On the 21 August 2009 the German film producer Dr. Peter Kersten with his assistant visited the project in Kalakembe for 3 days to film a nice short story. The Chairman, his wife and our good old helpful friend, Mrs. Ann from the Project Hope arranged a Christmas Party in august 2009. It was so much fun for the school children, because they are all Christians. They were singing and plying on their Bamboo flutes German Christmas corals. We all where so surprised when they were singing even in German language. Santa Klaus was very busy to carry all his gifts from far away. A water purifier for drinking water, school books, pencils, candies, TV flat screen, DVD player and DVDs for the school lessons. Every child got a personal present. This was all sponsored by the visitors. All teacher and some mothers out of the neighborhood were already 2 days very busy to prepare the 2 goats with vegetables and so on, for all the school children and people around. A big thank you to Pater Bernard who was teaching the children the German Christmas songs.
-
It is planned that this film will be aired shortly before this Christmas on the German Television Channel ZDF.
