Update Nr. 17

I received a visit from Mr. Ann from Sumba, and she reported:

The daily school activities are running smooth and normal.
The road from the village to the school is now ready and the children are enjoying the daily way to/from the school on the new road.
The project ist now paying the full salaries for 3 of the 5 teachers, which guarantees that the students have enough teachers available.
It was further discussed that there are some building renovation (wall painting) in due time neccessary.
The electricity supply through the existing diesel-generator should be upgraded.
There are now more than 300 school children joining this school.

We are waiting for the cost estimation and after receiving that, the project will look for the financing of this maintainance work.
