Update No. 16

After the successful official opening of the school in February 2008 the daily school activities are running smooth and normal. Due to the financial shortage of the Regional Government, this project took over the monthly salary payment for 3 teachers. Through this, it is ensured that enough teachers for the 237 students are available.

In the meantime the planned new road from the village to the school buildings was completed. The road project was implemented in two parts:

• Part 1:
  The purchase of the construction materials was financed from the project funds.
• Part 2:
  All construction work was done by the Kere Mareda village community. Many people were involved.

Since starting this project in the year 2005/2006 Rotary Club Bali Kuta is organizing a Joint Matching Grand from Rotary International.

Unfortunately, until today without success. These advertised funds are planned to be used for the remaining planned project activities.
