Help Sumba Island Latest News and Updates

News update number 11

Dear Rotary Kuta Club President,
dear Sumba-Project Committee, dear Rotary Kuta Club members,

as I reported in our last regular project up grading report, our Sumba Project comes to the completition and to the end of the first phase.
The buildings are ready and the normal school activities started already some time ago.

As we agreed the formal handing over ceremony should be done when the sponsors are joining this ceremony. We are waiting for the available time information.
There are still some open bills which will be paid after this final inspection.

To make the handing over ceremony successful, I think it is necessary to make another on the site visit to the project, to see and inspect the construction and how it is all arranged, by our own eyes.

Herewith I would like to ask the Committee Members to join, and give recommendations what has still to be done - and what has to be changed.
There is a possibility that one professional photographer will join us to make the necessary film and photo documentation which could be shown to our sponsors.
This photographer will be arranged by our PP. Rtn.Hanny.

It would be nice, if some of the committee members could join us!
This Sumba visit should be made in the next 2 weeks, because I am leaving to Germany for holiday in middle of June.
