The result of this meeting is as follows :
WATER
There will be a meeting on site with the original contractor and he will have the chance to solve the existing problem. If he is able to fill the water tank twice on the spot, maybe the problem is solved. If not, there will be called another contractor to whom the school headmaster already talked.
SCHOOL BOOKS
The school headmaster told that the government supplied sufficient funds to buy one book per child. There are other utensils which are needed urgent, and the headmaster will prepare a list of things which are urgently needed.
THE LAND IN FRONT OF THE SCHOOL
The local community has been working hard, under the instruction of the headmaster, to level the land in front of the school. They have leveled as far as is possible a lager area than we originally envisioned. There have been more than 50 people working for many days and the good result is a very positive sign. The Main Government School has covered the cost of the feeding the people and the work has been total voluntary! This is a very positive development and we are happy to witness this.
They worked out a plan how to cement the whole - already prepared - area. The amount of this additional cost will be available soon. We will discuss the possibility to finance this in total Rp 27.360.000 direct for all the land, or only land in front of the school buildings 16x14m with the price is 39,5% from Rp 27.360.000.

The construction "foreman" who overlooked the whole construction site suddenly got ill. After he was hospitalized in Karritas he was transferred to Bali Sanglah hospital. Following the medical examination performed by a specialist he was transferred back to his family in Wednesday, February 21, 2007 where he the following day passed away.
He has a wife and 4 children (1child is 3grade of junior high school, 1child is 6 grade of elementary school, 1child is 1grade of elementary school, and the last month still 7month baby .The project made a on the spot donation of 3 mill Rp to assist the widow, because until now she has no income at all.
We are very happy to bring to your attention that due to the own initiative of the local community the project funds allocated for the preparation work of the school court-yard can now be used for the cement work.
