Help Sumba Island Latest News and Updates

We are very happy to announce that a new main sponsor joined our Sumba Project. His donation made it possible that the construction of the school buildings will be completed soon.

At the moment there are very strong seasonal monsoon storms on Sumba Island, so 2 of the bamboo shack school buildings collapsed in the heavy rain storms.

The 126 school children are very happy that the doors of the new concrete school facilities will be open soon and cannot await the time.

So, we plan now that the Opening Ceremony will be held at the end of January 2007.
